The Law Firm of Bechtel & Santo was founded in 2005 in Grand Junction, Colorado, by Betty Bechtel and Michael Santo. Early in her career, Betty worked with Michael’s father, Ron Santo, at Dykema Gossett law firm in Detroit. In 1994, Michael moved to Grand Junction from Michigan to join Dufford, Waldeck, Milburn, and Krohn LLP, the firm Betty had joined in 1980 when she returned home to Colorado. The two practiced there together until 2005, when they decided to start their own firm.

Bechtel & Santo has consistently focused on employment law issues for businesses and has steadily increased its sphere of clients across Western Colorado and into the Front Range. The firm is very grateful to those clients, our employees, and our vendors for their patronage and support over the last 16 years.

Betty Bechtel retired from active practice in 2011, but she still stays in touch. Currently the firm consists of attorneys Michael Santo, Christina Harney and Tim Wolfe and its legal assistant, Rachel Englehart, and office manager, Debbie Morrison.
